Paper Adventures Team Hop-Split design

Hello and welcome to this month’s team hop. You may have joined me from my friend Narelle or started here. Enjoy hopping round all of the posts. A very special welcome to Windy Ellard joining us this month-welcome Windy. Windy has been blogging her creations since 2013 and an active contributor for many blog hops-love your work!

This is the first outing for the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle in the Mini Stampin’Up catalogue.

This split design was inspired by a trip to the beach this week. We are lucky enough to be able to run public events in WA and we visited the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition. Turquoise sea and golden sand are the perfect backdrop for this fabulous and eclectic collection.

My favourite sculpture in the 2021 collection!

I’ve recreated our golden sand with stamping on Crumb Cake and gold foiling and the sea with water colouring and a strategic tear through the watercolour paper to create the tide line 🙂

Enjoy the blog hop-looking forward to seeing what the lovely Sana has created for this month’s challenge.

  2. These cards are stunning Lisa! Beautiful water colouring and I love the sparkling sand – I would never have thought to use gold leaf for that. Tearing the card stock adds a great element of texture to your cards. Did I say I love these? 😀
