Paper Adventures Team Hop-Split design
Hello and welcome to this month’s team hop. You may have joined me from my friend Narelle or started here. Enjoy hopping round all of the posts. A very special welcome to Windy Ellard joining us this month-welcome Windy. Windy has been blogging her creations since 2013 and an active contributor for many blog hops-love your work!
This is the first outing for the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle in the Mini Stampin’Up catalogue.
This split design was inspired by a trip to the beach this week. We are lucky enough to be able to run public events in WA and we visited the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition. Turquoise sea and golden sand are the perfect backdrop for this fabulous and eclectic collection.
I’ve recreated our golden sand with stamping on Crumb Cake and gold foiling and the sea with water colouring and a strategic tear through the watercolour paper to create the tide line 🙂
Enjoy the blog hop-looking forward to seeing what the lovely Sana has created for this month’s challenge.
Oh my! I love everything about this card!!! The golden sand is just divine! Kelly x PS, I feel so lucky to be living in Australia through COVID.
We are so lucky Kelly and to have such stunning locations as well 🙂
These cards are stunning Lisa! Beautiful water colouring and I love the sparkling sand – I would never have thought to use gold leaf for that. Tearing the card stock adds a great element of texture to your cards. Did I say I love these? 😀
Thank you Narelle-great challenge. I hadn’t heard of this design and it certainly got me thinking!
Your cards are gorgeous…I can’t stop playing with the this suite! Thanks for the inspiration. Thank you also for letting me join your join your team blog hop this month. I enjoyed creating with the split design.
Thank you for joining us, I was super excited to hear that you would be hopping with us 🙂
What a work of art! The colours, the gold detail, I just love everything about it! I especially love how the torn edge splits the design. I would definitely love to CASE this card!
Thank you Sana, I forgot to add that the watercolour piece is one sheet, torn to create two cards-who doesn’t love a two for one!
This is just stunning Lisa! A work of art. It looks like I just want to dive right in and enjoy the beach! So so pretty xx
