Social Stamping-In Colours
Welcome to the Social Stamping blog hop for March and the theme of in-colours. Thank you as always to Kelly for organising the blog hop and the opportunity for connection and collaboration across Australia and New Zealand. You may have joined me from Kelly Kent’s post or started here, but if you lose your way you can link back to the main post here.
In-colours (or in colors 🙂 ) stay with us for two years with a new collection introduced each year. If you want the 2019-2021 in-colours you’ll need to move fast! The 2020-2022 collection are with us for another year and I’ve used these to create a beach themed card.
Starting with Just Jade base I’ve created a background in Very Vanilla using the Seabed 3D embossing folder and stamped and embossed the shells on watercolour paper in gold. Watercolour paper creates a muted gold effect and I’ve water coloured the shells in Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Magenta Madness. I’ve also used the main die to create the leaves, again water-colouring this time in Just Jade and you might be able to see a liberal coating of Wink of Stella across all of the shells and leave, this card really sparkles!
Let’s hop over and see what the creative Andrea Sargent has created and enjoy more work featuring our in-colour collections!
I always love water colouring, I love how you have added the in colours to your shells. I have just reordered another wink of stella, such a great product.
Wow – this looks amazing in these colours – love the brightness of the colours with the softness of these gorgeous shells.
This card is my favorite! Stunningly beautiful!
A lovely card Lisa. Water-colouring the gold embossed shells is gorgeous. Also love you layering over the dry embossed background. All so gorgeous.
This year’s In colours all look so good together. I love your watercolour variegations in the Jade sea plants, and brightly coloured shells are so eye catching.
Such a pretty card and so effective! Your water colouring is fabulous and it’s such an eye catching card, beautiful.
